Responsibilities

CHURCH RESPONSIBILITIES

The Church is responsible for carrying out the commands of Scripture and purposes to make every effort to fulfill these responsibilities.

1.To provide clear, biblically based, sound teaching and preaching of the Scriptures.

2.To teach the membership what their spiritual gifts are and how to use them.

3.To minister to the spiritual needs of the congregation.

4.To minister to the temporal needs of the congregation in accordance with biblical guidelines and based on available resources.

5.To provide strong Godly leadership in ministry, financial integrity and to administer scripture based discipline when appropriate.

6.To provide a clean and comfortable worship environment.

MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES

The church is only as strong as it's membership. Therefore the members of the church have responsibilities to the congregation at large. If each member carries out their responsibilities, the church will be able to grow and fulfill it's responsibilities.

1.To regularly attend worship and prayer services.

2.To be committed to and involved in at least one ministry of the church.

3.To be active in a teaching ministry.

4.To financially support the church through tithes and offerings. The church supplies envelopes to be used when giving your tithes and offerings. The envelope is the only way the church will be able to maintain a record of your giving. IRS requires that the church have envelopes to document the statement of giving that will be provide to you (upon request) at years' end.
